We're less than 20 days from the start of the 2025 college football season, but I've still got a couple throwback videos for you before we officially get there. Today's is the night Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick went off on Jeff Tedford's Cal to the tune of 329 total yards (181 passing, 148 rushing) and five total touchdowns in the Wolfpack's 52-31 win in 2010:

This performance not only set the tone for Nevada's magical 13-1 season, but helped showcase Kaepernick's name to the broader college football audience that hadn't kept up with the massive numbers he'd accumulated through his first three seasons in Reno:

A Cal defense that had just obliterated Colorado the week before had no answers for Kaepernick, or the pistol offense that by that point was taking the sport by storm. Kaepernick was as in control of that offense in his fourth year as any QB in college football history, and watching him execute Chris Ault's vision for it is still a beautiful sight 15 years later.
