I'd like to commend Nebraska's defense for the job they did against Jamaal Charles for the first three quarters of their 2007 game against Texas. In the face of swirling rumors about Head Coach Bill Callahan's job security, the Cornhuskers gave it their all against the No. 19 Longhorns, carrying a shocking 17-9 road lead into the fourth quarter.

Somehow, one of the worst defenses in the country was playing lights out. Texas was 0/8 on third down heading into the fourth, had only managed three field goals, with Charles gaining just 74 yards on 20 carries. Then, the dam broke:
