USC's dynasty was on the verge of a heat exhaustion death in the desert in 2005. The Trojans trailed No. 14 Arizona State 21-3 at half, and their chances of coming back looked bleak, given how quarterback Matt Leinart played in the first half:

SC's 25-game win-streak, and their dream of a national title three-peat were in serious jeopardy. Well, at least until they remembered they had Lendale White and Reggie Bush in their backfield. With one play, SC got their swagger back:
