Before we get back to the 2026 season preview content, it's time for another touchdown video featuring a college football legend. This week's is Ohio State receiver/kick returner/punt returner/speed demon Ted Ginn Jr. Ginn scored 26 times as a Buckeye from 2004-06 –plus threw one TD pass– and nearly all of them showcase why he's arguably the fastest straight-line player in college football history.

Just to give you a true picture of how explosive Ginn was, let's revisit the DeSean Jackson touchdown video. I told you that Jackson averaged a ridiculous 40.1 yards on his 29 touchdowns, and 30 flat on his offensive scores alone. Ginn's numbers are even more cartoonish. He averaged 39.3 yards on his 18 offensive TD, and 49.9 if you include his eight scores on special teams. The phrase "world-class speed" gets thrown around excessively, but Ginn is one of the few guys who actually had it and could utilize it properly on a football field.

How many people in the world –let alone football players– can say they ran a 10.2 in the 100 meters or were high school champions in the 110 meter hurdles? Maybe a few, but how many of those guys can then say they once ran on a 4x100 relay squad that beat a team anchored by Usain Bolt, or that they out-ran Olympic silver medalist Jason Richardson? Ted Ginn Jr. can - so it makes sense why some poor defensive back from Michigan State had no chance of ever catching him in the open field. Enjoy the video!
